A global movement of engineering change agents
Engineers Without Borders organisations leverage engineering skills and expertise towards ensuring a safe and just future for all within the sustainable limits of our planet, in particular to support those that are most vulnerable in society. Established some 40 years ago, the global Engineers Without Borders movement is led by a network of over 40 organisations across Africa, Asia, the Pacific, Middle East, Europe, North, South and Central America.
Our collective mission is even more urgent today than when we started out given the key role engineering needs to play to address the climate crisis and social injustice around the world. Right now, Engineers Without Borders International is supporting Engineers Without Borders organisations to transform into a global collective capable of delivering globally meaningful impact and influence through coordination, promotion and strengthening activities.
By working together, Engineers Without Borders organisations can:
- Collaborate on shared initiatives which will deliver greater impact
- Share our collective engineering expertise and insight into global discourse
- Rally greater support from the engineering community and wider supporters
- Continue to build and shape the global Engineers Without Borders movement
